CIO Town Hall Live

CIO Town Hall Live is a monthly gathering for CIOs, CTOs and fellow technology executives to join a live interactive forum with your peers, hear from two leading CIO, and engage with each other in group discussions, live Q&As with our speakers, and in private chats.

The inaugural CIO Town Hall Live will feature the technology leaders from two of the oldest institutions in the UK – the British Army and the Houses of Parliament – discussing the technology transformations their organisations have gone through and some of the digital, IT and innovation initiatives their teams are delivering.

CIO and Managing Director at the Parliamentary Digital Service, Tracey Jessup, worked with her team to have parliamentarians in the Commons debating and voting remotely in response to coronavirus restrictions, and will share the journey to helping digitise the Houses of Parliament.

Major General JJ Cole OBE, CIO and Director of Information in the British Army, leads on information strategy, capability and services in all aspects of the Army’s activities. Maj Gen Cole will discuss the Information Advantage, Information Manoeuvre, and how the Army is focusing on the better exploitation of data and future capabilities as part of its modernisation and transformation.
